Bread Run Group 

Starting more than 10 years ago, a small group of volunteers saw an opportunity to save surplus, quality bread from waste and to pass it on to families though the community. They sourced a local bakery to donate its fresh bread and rolls, and started sharing the cooked dough!

Every Tuesday the tradition continues.

The left over, freshy baked bread is collected, bagged up and distributed to local families and charities in our community, School and Parish.

We welcome all families, singles and couples interested in receiving a mixed bag, or anyone wanting to rescue some bread, to contact us for more information. There is no eligibility criteria, no forms to fill out, no questions asked, everyone is very much welcome to receive a bag.
