Men's Group

The Men’s Group started out with a simple idea in March 2018 - to bring Parish men together for a cup of tea and chat in a relaxed atmosphere, similar to our Ladies Coffee and Chat Group. The first meeting was a great success and has since progressed to a solid core of attendees.  

The meetings bring together men from many different professions and 'walks of life', with a host of varied experiences. For that reason, many of the men gave short talks of their life so far, including work experiences and hobbies. Some of these talks turned out to be very surprising, as well as being informative on certain subjects.

The meetings are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere, with little or no formality. The Group meets every second Tuesday of the month at 10:30am and there is an open invitation to all men of the parish, retired or not, of any age, who wishes to join the group.
