Passionist Family Groups

Have you heard this before? - "I wish I knew some of the people I see at church?", or "How could I be more involved in our parish?", or have you said to yourself: "How can I show my children what it means to be really Christian?".

A Family Group provides an opportunity to really get to know others, so that we can look out for each other and build community. Our aim is to make people feel welcome in the parish and to have a true sense of belonging. We want members to accept and appreciate each other and to support each other, to live their faith in a truly practical way.

Each Family Group is made up of 10 to 12 families, many of these will be couples or single adults. Everyone is welcome to join - Family Groups are for everyone! Sharing, listening, celebrating milestones together – this is what Family Groups do.

Very often they gather to share food and drink, a great way to build relationships of trust - getting close enough to people, to recognise their needs & be the ‘hands, eyes, ears and face of God’ to one another.
